Degree Programs
Canada Christian College and School of Graduate
Theological
Studies is authorized by the Ontario Ministry of
Colleges and
Universities to grant undergraduate degrees through its Charterissued by the Ontario Legislature. Undergraduate programs
offered by the college require a total of 120 credits to complete
and will take approximately four years of full-time study.
These degree programs provide students with an accredited
education in Theology, Christian Education, Sacred Music,
Christian Counselling and Business Communications. Programs
can be completed on full-time or part-time basis and a Summer
Semester program is also available.
To successfully graduate from the undergraduate
degree program, you must:
- Know proper methods of Bible study, interpretation
and research.
- Be acquainted with the major tools of theological
research such as, lexicons, commentaries, Bible
dictionaries, encyclopedias and theological journals.
- Have been introduced to general education courses
that will enable one to begin formulating a Christian
world view.
- Be prepared to be actively involved in a local church
in teaching and leadership positions.
- Have a good grasp of the content of the major biblical
themes, topics and books.
- Be of approved Christian character and receive the
recommendation of the faculty.
- Complete all the required courses, special projects, and
elective hours of the prescribed program for a total of
120 Credit hours.
- Maintain a grade point average of not less than 1.0.
- Complete a minimum of one semester hour of approved
Christian service for each semester attending the
College.

- A minimum of 32 hours must be completed at Canada
Christian College and the remainder from an approved
institution.
- Make honourable arrangements to meet all financial
obligations to Canada Christian College.

The Bachelor of Theology Degree program was designed
primarily for those who want to pursue a career in Christian
Ministry or Pastoral Care. This program provides students with
a basic theological foundation.

This program provides graduates who successfully complete
their studies with a Teaching Certificate in Christian education.
This undergraduate degree program is designed primarily for
students who are planning to pursue a career in teaching at
Christian schools, churches, or evangelical organizations.

Bachelor of Sacred Music
(B.S.M.)
The Bachelor of Sacred Music degree program was designed
to prepare musicians for worship ministry in the church. It
will equip persons preparing for worship leadership with
theological understanding along with increased music skills.
For persons pursuing a career in the music industry, this
program provides them with the knowledge and skills required
to become successful musicians.
Piano Majors must complete Grade 8 Piano (RCM) in order
to graduate.
Non-Piano Majors must complete Grade 6 Piano (RCM) and
Grade 8 (RCM) of their major instrument.
