through television and other media. He is an accomplished
recording artist with several credits, including being the
producer of an instrumental CD entitled “Whole Heart”. |

Department
Rev. Wayne Chai is an accomplished musician playing a variety of instruments with several recordings. He has vast experience in conducting choirs and orchestras as well as leading worship as a minister of music. He studied in depth majoring in both musical Composition and Christian education in theology. The numerous compositions of his were included in the recording and publishing produced by the Sung Eum (Philips-affiliated) Record Limited and Si Sa English Company and Seoul Record Company in Korea. His composition, “Farmers' Dancing”, in particular was selected for the national epic of the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games as representing the Korean Art Song broadly promoted by the MBC - Taejon 1 FM Broadcast. Noteworthy of his art world depicts a vibrant application of a new technique in composition that marked a historical fact in the history of Korean Art Songs, those which were appraised by the 1989 Science Publishers. Recently he published his composition works in Symphonic choral music and Art songs, both in Korean and English lyrics, mainly derived from the Biblical scriptures by Joongang Art Publishing Company and Eumag Chunchu Publishing Company in Korea. His works of music are readily accessible through many of internet music providers. |

Canada for 26 years. Dr. Martin also founded the Arms
of Jesus Children’s Mossion Inc. which seeks to help
children throughout the world. In addition to his
lecturing at Canada Christian College, Dr. Martin is
currently the pastor at the Safe Haven Worship Centre. |

Mr. Aadin Church has a solid
background in the Performing Arts

Broadway hits (“Mama I Want to Sing”). He now enjoys
teaching Drama at Canada Christian College and has
written, directed and produced original drama
productions playing across North America. |

Prof. Léna Gauthier
M.Mus. (University of Montreal)
Léna Gauthier completed a Master’s Degree in Performance in voice at the University of Montreal in 1999, after studying piano and voice at Laval University and at the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Winner of the Debut Young Concert Artists Competition, semi-finalist for the Joseph-Rouleau Award, and national finalist in her category in the Canadian Music Competition, Léna has appeared as soloist with various orchestras and ensembles and as guest at the George Weston Recital Hall, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Isabel Bader Theatre, among others. Her operatic performances include Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande and Mozart’s Don Giovanni. She made her first television appearance in 1998 in Montreal.
Léna released her first CD, “The seed that I am” in 2003 and it has been played on both secular and Christian radio stations. Léna has also been a guest speaker at the Canada Ministry Summit in December 2007 and at the Power Up Gospel event in February 2008. She has been ministering in songs for the past 6 years.
Léna has been teaching students of all ages and levels for the past 20 years. She has been an affiliated teacher with the Extension of the Music School of Laval University (1989-94), and a teacher registered with the Royal Conservatory of Music since 1995. Léna is also a faculty member at Canada Christian College as Vocal Professor. In 2003, she founded the Léna Gauthier Christian Music Academy, a music school dedicated to equip Christians with excellent musical skills and a Bible-based, worshipful approach to music.
Léna is the Music & Arts Director and the primary worship leader at Destiny & Dominion Word Ministries. Her husband, Vincent, and she serve in the church, under the covering of their pastor, Rev. Marcus Martinez. They are the proud parents of miracle children David, 4, and Marie, 21 months.

computers in music and is a world leader in music
software and hardware. He brings to the College a broad
understanding of computers and music and the music

Barbara Thibault comes from New York
State, where, at the age of 11, she began
studying guitar under the tutelage of
Mr. Pat Landi. An active member of the
Syracuse Musicians’ Union,she studied
song-writing and production with Mr.
Michael Gentile of Motown Records. After
moving to Canada, Ms. Thibault spent eight years as a
worship leader at the Evangel Temple in Toronto. She
has also authored a book of instruction called “Worship
with the Guitar”. |

Bronson Kwan started playing the violin
at the age of seven. In 1982 he was
awarded a full scholarship to be a music
specialist at Wells Cathedral School, one
of only four music schools in all of
England. He won numerous music and
drama awards in England before coming
to Canada and completing his Artist Diploma at the Royal
Conservatory of Music. He is currently the
Concertmaster for both the Toronto Sinfonietta and the
Scarborough Philharmonic Orchestra. |

Co., President of the Theological
Seminary of New York, President of the
Korean-American Association of the
Princeton Theological Seminary, Moderator of the Synod
of the Northeast (PCUSA) and Chairman of the Synod
Assembly Committee. He currently serves as the
Chairman for the Association of Korean-American
Presbyteries of the PCUSA, as Vice President of the
Presbyterian Theological Seminary (U.S.A.), as a
Member of the Board of Trustees at Bloomfield College
and as the Executive Presbyter of the Eastern Korean
Presbytery. |

Prof. Edgar Diaz

Faculty
Edgar Diaz was born in Ecuador and
moved to Canada in 1981. He studied
computers at the DeVry Institute of
Technology, graduating in 1994. He was
a youth pastor for 6 years and a pastor’s
assistant for several Spanish churches.
In 2000, he chose to pursued a Bachelor in Christian
Counselling degree at Canada Christian College,
completing it in June 2003. Edgar has a wonderful wife,
Margarita, and two beautiful daughters, Andrea and
Amanda, aged 15 and 12. Edgar and his family continue
to serve the Lord in any way possible for His glory. |

Jenny majored in Canadian Studies and the languages
she studied are Spanish, French and Classical
Greek. Currently she teaches ESL Level 2 at Canada
Christian College. Jenny is a dedicated teacher
and her students greatly enjoy her classes and
her style of teaching. |
