Academic Support Counselling:
All incoming students will be assigned to a meeting with the
Registrar of the College or an associate, who will advise them
and monitor their progress on a personal basis.
An experienced counsellor is available to help students with
their vocational or personal questions. Psychological testing
services as an adjunct to this kind of counselling are also
available.
Twice a week a professional counsellor is also available on
campus at the Stress Centre. Hours will be posted on the outside
of the Counselling office. If counselling is to be of a long term
personal nature, students, staff and faculty who use the service
are responsible for their own financial arrangements with the
counsellor.
The College President and Dean of Students are also qualified
to counsel on a number of personal and spiritual issues with
students who struggle with problems relating to their faith life.
The Counselling Department offers a Christian career resource
and service, self-assessment tests, personality traits and interest
identification.
